I hope you are all ready for a fun drill. Saturday, we have our annual Holiday Banquet and Sunday we will be at Sky zone; that is if you RSVP’ed before the deadline!

You must have the Participant agreement printed and with you when you arrive. No paperwork or parent, no fun!

We are in need of a few adult volunteers willing to attend every drill. The following billets need to be filled.
RTC/ ATC Officer in Charge – This includes preparing classes, assisting in running the PRT, and teaching the cadets in your command the Navy way.
Galley Personnel – In need of 1 or 2 people who can shop & prepare meals for the unit. When we are at the ship and it is an overnight you will be responsible for lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. When at other locations you will be responsible for lunches only on each day.
Color Guard Coordinator – You would be responsible for the color guard equipment and all color guard functions.

Hi Everyone,
The Sullivan’s Division/Training Ship Little Rock annual Holiday Party and Awards Luncheon is already shaping up to be a great event.

Here’s what we’ve planned so far.

  • December 5th , Cadets ,Staff & families are to arrive at Townline Fire Hall located at 6507 Broadway, Lancaster, NY 14086 9:30 am
  • Lunch will start at 1230
  • Chinese Auction gift basket tickets and 50/50 Tickets will be sold.

Help a Military Family!
To all, we are helping a Local Military Family in need this year. If you have a donation for them please bring it to the banquet on 05 DEC 15.

They have four children at home, three girl’s and one boy. He also has two children with a previous relationship, one boy and one girl. The girls range in age from 4 to 8 and wear sizes 5, 6, 7&8 and love dolls, Barbie, and anything girly. The two boys are ages five and one, wearing 12 to 18 months and size 5. They likes trucks, robots and ninja turtles. We will also will accept gift cards to give to the family or monetary donations.

Thank you in advance for your donations to help this military family have a great Christmas and to show our appreciation!

One more time on the SHIPS!

As discussed at last drill we are unable to go back to the Buffalo Naval Operations Center (NOSC) due to construction. As of yet we have been unable to secure a place to hold drill for the upcoming months. This is being worked on as we speak and we will hopefully have some good news by drill.

We have lots coming up this month such as the PRT (Physical Readiness Test). Are you ready? This must be passed by all cadets in order to advance in rank or go to a training.


We also have the Veteran’s Day run on 07 NOV 15 if you signed up be ready! We are in need of Cadets for a color guard & Escort Officers on 01NOV15 for a Military Mass at St Joseph’s Cathedral honoring our veterans in downtown buffalo. If interested please contact Cadet Ryan. All cadets are encouraged to come to this event.

  • Payment must be made when making reservations. Reservations are mandatory! CASH/Money Orders ONLY, NO CHECKS
  • Tickets are $10.00 per person (Children under 5 free.)

October 3rd and 4th (last month on the ships) – NO OVERNIGHT

Below are a few things you need to know about what’s coming up.

  • Annual Christmas Banquet in December – this is where we present the Awards for cadets and hold a Chinese auction. More information will be coming. Watch your emails.

 

  • Winter training – this is for any SEA CADET who might need a training to advance. You will have had to pass RT Boot Camp to attend. This is held in February over the break. Cost and dates of training will be provided by October Drill. If interested please go up your chain now.

 

  • If any of your contact information has changed in the last 4 months please make sure you send in the new info with your child at next drill or email mdpawli@msn.com with changes. If you are not receiving emails please email me with your email and I will make sure you are on my list.
