Tall Ship Festival: July 4th – 7th
Community Service Opportunity for all cadets!

Cadets 10 years old and up may apply if you are 16 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license they can really use you!
Email: Kim Reynolds at and copy LCDR Joseph Pawli @ for complete details. Great opportunity for Cadets entering into their senior year and need community service. Plus you can earn your ribbon!
Uniform will be NWU’s for any community service you may provide.

Tall Ship Festival: July 6th St. Lawrence II Youth Education Program
We have 2 slots on Saturday 06Jul19 first one at 1200-1230 and another at
1300 – 1330. If you are interested please let LCDR Joseph Pawli know at There is a limit of 20 kids per session and 2 adults are required to be there. Below is some info on the sessions: These hands-on and educational sessions will last about 30 minutes aboard the ship, promoting teamwork and skill building. Some of the activities being planned are a dry run of sailing maneuvers, turning the wheel, possibly going below deck, learning to tie the ropes, and creating a take-home rope memento. These youth sessions are being provided free of charge by the Festival, and the participants can certainly stay with their families / chaperones at the festival afterwards.

Sea Bag Check this drill!!!!
If you are attending any training please bring in your completed packed sea bag for a Sea Bag check!
Buffalo Summer Training- Paperwork and money is due at this drill unless
you have spoken to LT Melanie Pawli and made other arrangements.
If you are going to any training and have not turned in paperwork please do so this drill as we need to prepare your record jacket.

This drill on 09JUN19 we will say good bye to our graduating cadets!
Parents please come to the graduation and bring your immediate family to celebrate your child’s accomplishments!
Graduation will be held at 2pm on the fantail of the Little Rock. After the graduation we will have light refreshments before final dismissal.
Please have your child bring their sea bag packed with clean uniforms to turn in after graduation. Please have them also pack a set of civilian clothing so afterwards they can turn in their Dress White Uniform.

Sea Bag List
REMEMBER, even if it is not an overnight drill, you are still required to have a sea bag with the necessary contents.
Meals are $15 per cadet for Saturday lunch & Dinner and Sunday Breakfast & lunch. Please make sure you have your money. Exact change is preferred. Thank you.

NWU uniform and/or Dress Uniform
Pens and pencils, paper, and coursework
Bring appropriate outdoor clothing in case we go outside!
Sleeping bag or blanket, pillow
Sleeping gear ( most cadets sleep ion sweats or PT gear)
Shower gear (towel, soap, shampoo, shower shoes and most important DEODORANT!)
Females need to bring female hygiene products
Comb, brush, toothpaste, toothbrush
